We buy broken jewelry as long as it contains gold or platinum. The metal’s value is based on its weight and purity, not its condition. FIICCI does not accept plated jewelry, dental scrap, coins, or bars, and we do not purchase gemstones that are set in the metal or otherwise. If you wish to retain the gemstones we can remove them for a fee of $2 per stone, to be subtracted from the total offer.
